Human Resources Director at PiTech Solutions Inc. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) requires a SharePoint Developer with .NET experience to migrate ColdFusion applications to C# .NET web parts within a SharePoint 2016 on-premise environment, while complying with DoD cybersecurity requirements and Microsoft best practices. Migrate existing ColdFusion applications into the SharePoint environment as C# .NET web parts and user controls (ascx, ascx.cs). Assist current application developers with migration strategies and implementation following established methodologies. Develop new SharePoint-based applications to meet customer needs while adhering to DoD cybersecurity requirements and Microsoft SharePoint best practices. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting when primary support is unavailable, including making functional changes to critical applications. Apply security fixes based on Fortify vulnerability scans and ensure ongoing security compliance. Develop and maintain database-driven web parts and timer jobs for on-premise SharePoint and cloud-based solutions. Work with Visual Studio 2017 or newer and with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases (TOAD). Maintain clear verbal and written communication with team members and stakeholders. Qualifications
Four years of web application development experience, including developing custom database-driven web parts and timer jobs for SharePoint on-prem and cloud-based solutions. SharePoint web part development experience in Visual Studio 2017 or newer. Proficiency in C# programming language; familiarity with ColdFusion and migrating applications to .NET. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases (TOAD). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Certificate of completion in Microsoft SharePoint 2016 or newer is required. Certification in one of the following is required: CISSP, CASP, C-Council ENSA, DON-approved graduate degree, or CompTIA Security+ CE. U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret security clearance.
