The Sr. Customer Sales Analyst is an internal sales position that provides business insights and volume-growing recommendations through category research on the Kroger Meats Customer Business Team. The Sr. CSA ensures that customer, consumer, and internal information are used to build knowledge and insights that can be used to improve overall performance across a $600MM business with Kroger. As the branded leader in the packaged meat department, this role will leverage strong partnerships with Kroger merchants and internal Meats team to drive growth. Under the direction of the Customer Sales Director, the Sr. CSA identifies and addresses new/existing business opportunities across all Kraft Heinz Meat categories (Cold Cuts, Bacon, Hot Dogs, Lunchables, Adult Snacking, and Refrigerated Pickles). This position leverages category management and analytics to identify opportunities and provide recommendations across the 4Ps (Price/Promotion/Product/Place). The role also coordinates information-training activities, leads data for sales planning, and works to unlock total category expansion. Responsibilities
Leader for the Meat Team in all areas of analytics & insights (Syndicated, Shopper, Panel, Promotion, and Consumption data). Leverages key insights to drive growth in distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion. Ensure that customer, consumer, and category insights are delivered successfully. Conduct annual category reviews and periodic assessments, including market share updates for category managers and promotional event recaps. Pull relevant information to build effective selling stories, including share decks and commentary for supported categories. Support Supply Chain routines, with focus on forecasting upcoming promotions, new item sell-in and set-up, crafting sell sheets for retail execution, and submitting promotional plans to Kroger. Develop impactful customer-specific selling stories reflecting key category business-building initiatives. Provide support to CSL and Director in the development of internal and external presentations. Collaborate with Sales and Finance on sales financial routines (forecast reviews, contracts, planning, etc.). Qualifications
Strong business background with excellent understanding of business processes (forecasting, promo planning, multiyear strategy development). Proven experience operating in a technical position with ownership of sales analytics/insights. Strong financial acumen – understanding of profit and revenue drivers and analysis. Strong decision-making ability grounded in critical thinking and planning. Relentless drive for results. Compensation and Benefits
New Hire Base Salary Range: $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by plan terms and governing documents.
