As the finance leader for a geography generating over $2B in annual revenue and overseeing 400 dialysis clinics, you will partner closely with senior operations executives, corporate development, and DaVita's executive leadership team. Preference: This role can be based anywhere in the North Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, Delaware, Tennessee (Nashville), Maryland, or Washington, DC region, with up to 25% travel. Role

Title: Director of Strategic Finance (Group Finance Director) - Team Titan (Mid-Atlantic Group) Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance Leadership

Guide capital allocation decisions (labor, clinic buildouts, multimillion-dollar investments, compensation models). Support M&A, divestitures, and growth-related financial assessments. Drive annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting, ensuring alignment with long-term strategy.

Operational Partnership

Provide financial planning and decision support across 400 clinics, labs, and enterprise functions. Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to improve key performance metrics and drive growth. Bridge finance with strategy and operations, ensuring execution and accountability.

Executive-Level Influence

Present recommendations to senior leadership, influencing enterprise-level decisions. Serve as a trusted thought partner to divisional leadership and the C-Suite. Communicate complex financial insights with clarity, tailoring messages to diverse stakeholders.

Talent Development & Team Dynamics

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial managers and analysts, stabilizing and growing talent pipelines. Build a culture of excellence, belonging, and professional growth. Serve as a feeder role into senior finance or operational leadership across DaVita.

Growth Strategy & Project Leadership

Partner with the Director of Strategy on analyses to accelerate revenue growth and profitability. Chair the Team Titan Capital Committee, shaping clinic expansions and new investments. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Hybrid background : Strong foundation in finance/analytics, complemented by strategy/consulting exposure. People leadership : Demonstrated success in stabilizing, retaining, and developing high-performing teams. Communication : High EQ with strong executive presence and the ability to lead seasoned teams. Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced quantitative degree strongly preferred. 3+ years post-graduate experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A), or strategy consulting. Fortune 200 and/or consulting background strongly desired. Healthcare or multi-site operational experience a plus. Skills : Advanced quantitative modeling, valuation analyses, and operations analytics. Familiarity with financial planning or database systems (Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, Smartsheet, SQL) is advantageous. Orientation : Growth-focused, with the ability to drive top-line strategy, not just cost control. Leadership : Diverse leadership strongly desired; ability to foster inclusive, high-performing cultures. Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree 3+ years post-graduate experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A) or strategy consulting Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements, their relationships, and underlying business operations Proven experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods, including forecasting and valuation

Preferred

MBA strongly preferred Superior judgment, decision-making skills, and communication skills Healthcare industry experience and/or multi-site operations experience a plus Familiarity with financial planning systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, Smartsheet, or SQL
