Location preference: North Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, Delaware, Tennessee (Nashville), Maryland, or Washington, DC region, with up to 25% travel. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance Leadership
Guide capital allocation decisions (labor, clinic buildouts, multimillion-dollar investments, compensation models). Support M&A, divestitures, and growth-related financial assessments. Drive annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting aligned with long-term strategy.
Operational Partnership
Provide financial planning and decision support across 400 clinics, labs, and enterprise functions. Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to improve key performance metrics and drive growth. Bridge finance with strategy and operations, ensuring execution and accountability.
Executive-Level Influence
Present recommendations to senior leadership, influencing enterprise-level decisions. Serve as a trusted thought partner to divisional leadership and the C-Suite. Communicate complex financial insights with clarity to diverse stakeholders.
Talent Development & Team Dynamics
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial managers and analysts, building talent pipelines. Foster a culture of excellence, belonging, and professional growth. Serve as a feeder role into senior finance or operational leadership across DaVita.
Growth Strategy & Project Leadership
Partner with the Director of Strategy on analyses to accelerate revenue growth and profitability. Chair the Team Titan Capital Committee, shaping clinic expansions and new investments. Manage multiple projects with timely, high-quality outcomes.
Candidate Profile
Hybrid background with finance/analytics and exposure to strategy/consulting. People leadership with success in stabilizing, retaining, and developing high-performing teams. High EQ and executive presence with ability to lead seasoned teams. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced quantitative degree strongly preferred. 3+ years post-graduate experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A), or strategy consulting. Fortune 200 and/or consulting background strongly desired. Healthcare or multi-site operational experience a plus.
Skills: Advanced quantitative modeling, valuation analyses, and operations analytics. Familiarity with financial planning or database systems (Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, Smartsheet, SQL) is advantageous. Orientation: Growth-focused with ability to drive top-line strategy, not just cost control. Leadership: Diverse leadership desired; proven ability to foster inclusive, high-performing cultures. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required 3+ years post-graduate experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A) or strategy consulting Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements and underlying business operations Proven experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods, such as financial forecasting and valuation analyses Preferred Qualifications
