Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their client's dynamic team in California. This position offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles. Base pay range
$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Reconcile accounts and bank statements, identifying discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy. Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support budgeting and forecasting activities. Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. Identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementing changes to enhance efficiency. Provide support during audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and available. Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any financial inquiries or issues. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related role. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles. Experience with financial analysis and reporting. Required Work Hours
