Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital first mindset. They work to establish trust, assess and address customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, recommending solutions based on each customer’s goals and needs. They also develop proactive outreach and follow-up with clients, maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services (including digital products), open new consumer and business accounts, process basic transactions, and collaborate with branch team members to best serve clients. They educate clients on emerging digital products and self-service options to meet financial needs and leverage available resources to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. The required registration process includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any NMLS registration requirements may result in an offer rescission or termination of employment. Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Four to five years of customer service experience Four to five years of sales experience Preferred Skills/Experience
Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services Proven customer service and interpersonal skills Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively Experience in the financial services industry preferred Benefits
