Financial Accountant (Full-Time Position) Reports To:
Director of Finance Description: Are you a detail-driven financial expert ready to take on exciting challenges and make a meaningful impact? We're looking for a motivated
Financial Accountant
to join our fast-paced, dynamic team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work across all facets of accounting from journal entries to variance analysis, month-end close to financial reporting — all while collaborating with highly-skilled finance professionals. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entries for all assigned entities, maintain supporting documentation and workpapers Participate in month-end and year-end close process Reconcile and analyze assigned general ledger accounts Assist in preparation of financial reporting requirements as assigned Conduct variance analyses as assigned Collaborate with other entities and departments as required to assure proper general ledger coding Assist in supporting the Director of Finance, Controller, and CFO with various audit and tax requests and requirements Perform other accounting/analysis projects or duties as requested Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field CPA license preferred, not required 1-3 years of related experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) Excellent written and oral communication skills Able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently Strong accounting and analytical skills Team-oriented and willingness to help where needed Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week during regular business hours Must be able to sit or stand at a computer for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day), with occasional movement throughout the day Why Join Weis Builders?
