About The Role As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving new relationships and expanding the automotive category. You’ll leverage your industry knowledge and sales expertise to set up meetings, understand the PubMatic value proposition, and exceed revenue targets, implement strategic programs, and communicate effectively across all levels. Developing and deepening brand-direct relationships with major auto brands will be essential to driving success in this role. If you’re passionate about digital advertising and have a track record of success selling into the automotive vertical either in Detroit or Orange County, this role is for you.

What You\'ll Do

Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing clients to maximize account potential.

Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay ahead of industry trends.

Develop a strong understanding of PubMatic’s technology and media solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition to drive business growth.

Drive platform spend growth to meet and exceed goals while continuously prospecting new business.

Conduct ongoing business reviews and provide ongoing direct client management and entertainment.

Work closely with automotive brands, delivering exceptional customer service and proactive media packaging of publisher opportunities to drive revenue.

Foster cross-functional collaboration, maintaining strong relationships with internal teams including Technical Operations, Publisher Sales, Publisher Account Management, Ad Solutions, and Product Management.

Who You Are

Four plus years in sales or business development within digital advertising, particularly focused on building and nurturing new relationships in the Automotive category. Relevant experience includes working with publishers, ad networks, SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs, brands, and ad agencies.

Prior experience working with automotive brands required

Programmatic Advertising Expert: Strong knowledge of programmatic buying and selling, including pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends, and buying technologies.

Data-Driven: Proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to analyze data and drive business decisions.

Strong Presenter & Negotiator: Skilled in crafting compelling presentations and negotiating effectively with clients.

adaptable & Agile: Flexible, start-up mindset with a track record of success in fast-paced environments.

Comfort working remote and reporting into a team in NYC. This will require video calls, extra communication and a natural desire to be a self starter.

Compensation Disclosure:

The salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of total compensation for this role. Total compensation may include base salary, bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package. Range:

$110,000—$125,000 USD .
