Tax Senior position in a progressive, well established CPA firm in Phoenix. Excellent client interaction role with great work life balance and flexible working hours. Hybrid work schedule preferred with as little as 1-2 days in the office per week. Must live in or relocate to Phoenix. Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, estates, and trusts. Engage in year-end tax planning for individuals and corporations; assist with retirement planning as desirable experience. Research and provide solutions for complex tax issues; stay abreast of changes in tax code. Meet with clients, work independently, think creatively in the planning process, and provide guidance through tax strategies. Communicate effectively, analyze information, solve problems, multi-task, and contribute to potential fast track to management. Collaborate with a team that supports long-term staff development and client service excellence. Qualifications
3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience. Experience preparing/reviewing complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, C and S corporations, estates and trusts. Experience in year-end tax planning for individuals and corporations; knowledge in retirement planning is desirable. Multi-state tax compliance knowledge is a plus. Prior experience meeting with clients, working independently, and thinking creatively in planning processes. Ability to research and provide solutions for complex tax issues and stay current on tax code changes. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and PC skills. Willingness to join a firm with many long-term staff members and potential for advancement. Location requirement: must live in or relocate to Phoenix; hybrid schedule with flexibility acceptable.
