Account Executive Public Sector Defense (m/w/d)
DXC Technology is seeking an Account Executive for the Public Sector Defense in Germany. This role is part of the Public Sector Team in the DACH region. What to expect
To support our growth, we are looking for an Account Executive who will increase our market share in the Public Sector Industry in Germany. Key Responsibilities
Develops existing customers and acquires new clients within Public Sector Defense Uses industry expertise to generate new opportunities or to expand and enhance existing clients’ opportunities to build the pipeline and grow sales Sets direction for business development and solution replication Creates and grows reference customers Sells complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis Establishes a professional, working, consultative relationship with the client, including the C‑level, to develop a core understanding of the client’s unique business needs Maintains broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives What we expect
Bachelor’s degree; MBA would be an advantage 8+ years of related sales & coverage experience Demonstrated capability of achieving higher levels of revenue Position as an expert in the Public Sector Industry by company and customers Intensive experience in dealing with customers in different portfolios and business units Technical Skills
Understands common IT solution provider products, solutions or services and competitor offerings to sell large, complex solutions Uses expertise in consultative solution selling and business development to align the client’s needs with DXC value proposition Knowledge of client’s business, organizational structure, processes and financials Strategic planning at a business development level; builds a business case reflecting value of a strategy Knowledge of business indicators and their relationships Balances strategic and tactical perspectives to optimize coverage and revenue Successful partner engagement experience to drive additional revenue Personal Skills and Qualities
