As a Sales and Use Tax Senior, we’ll look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to complex issues. Work on a diverse array of projects and tasks related to sales and use tax, providing up-to-date tax advice to clients. Collaborate in a highly team-oriented environment, sharing information and listening to colleagues as an essential part of the role. Supervise a team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential. Skills and Attributes for Success

Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights Identifying opportunities and risks and communicating these to clients Learning and researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor Developing clear, intelligent plans to improve clients’ tax activities Researching clients’ business operations and building long-lasting relationships to tailor advice Strong collaboration, influencing skills, and ability to work in a multi-source data environment Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline Professional knowledge in a broad range of sales and use tax processes, concepts and tools Proven track record in a professional services or tax organization Technical writing and research experience in a tax context Ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes Willingness to travel as needed and to work in a balanced hybrid environment Ideally, you’ll also have

An achieved or partially achieved CPA qualification, certification as a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, CMI designation, or the ability to sit for a state bar What We Look For

Salary ranges: US base for all locations $81,700–$135,000; NYC Metro/Washington State/California (excluding Sacramento) $98,100–$153,500.
