US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Representative. Engage with veterinary customers to achieve a sales goal with Elanco products within an assigned geography. Your Responsibilities
Provide a key leadership role for distributor representatives within the assigned geography. Drive product placement with targeted accounts in the assigned area. Execute sales objectives and strategies with corporate hospitals. Develop and implement a territory business plan with key wins; execute the plan as the year progresses. Meet sales goals while operating within an assigned expense budget. Coordinate with local veterinary associations on efforts around state VMA meetings. Spend time in the field conducting face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers. Set up and execute launch meetings in collaboration with veterinary services to support product launches. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience. Experience: At least 2 years in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent selling environment; or prior Elanco internship. Key skills: Team-first mentality, drive to win, strong communication and presentation abilities. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Eligible to work in the United States; Elanco does not anticipate sponsorship for employment visa status. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to influence without authority. Strong communication, interpersonal, speaking, and presentation skills. Ability to motivate diverse audiences and make decisions under ambiguity. Strategic thinking and strong planning/execution skills. In-depth knowledge of companion animal veterinary products and market. Advanced degree in business (preferred). Additional Information
