Your Role:
US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Representative
As a Veterinary Sales Representative on the US Pet Health team, you’ll engage with veterinary customers to achieve a sales goal with Elanco products within an assigned geography. Pet Health Veterinary Field Representatives will play an important role in our success as we embark on a historic launch period for Elanco Animal Health and the Pet Health Organization.
Responsibilities
Provide a key leadership role for distributor representatives within the assigned geography.
Drive product placement with targeted accounts in the assigned geographic area.
Execute sales objectives and strategies with corporate hospitals.
Complete a territory business plan with key wins identified and execute it as the year progresses.
Manage objectives and achieve sales goals within an assigned expense budget.
Coordinate with local veterinary associations for state VMA meetings.
Spend a defined amount of time in the field conducting face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers.
Set up and execute launch meetings in collaboration with veterinary services for each product launch.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience
Experience: At least 2 years in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent in a competitive selling environment (or prior Elanco internship)
Must be bilingual in Spanish

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
Authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN) is not anticipated

Compensation: Elanco anticipates base salary for this position ranging from $75,000 to $143,200, depending on qualifications and experience. Full-time employees are eligible for a bonus based on company and individual performance. Benefits include a company-matching 401(k); vacation; medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible spending accounts; life and leave benefits; and well-being programs. Compensation is subject to change.
