Hire, train, and direct the Sales Force to achieve the operation’s growth and production goals, adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Recruit and hire capable Partners. Conduct personal, self-sourced recruiting for your area, including Loan Officers, Teams, and Mergers/Acquisitions. Maintain relationships with Retail Recruiters and other sources for current and future needs. Assist with expansion into new cities and markets. Follow UHM Growth Training Guidelines, including acknowledging prohibitions (see UHM Team Leader/Branch Manager Manual). Interview Partner Candidates personally and with Branch Managers. Drive growth through Branch Managers by setting monthly goals based on standards, tracking progress, and communicating updates with National Sales Management and coaching programs. Organize Round-Table sessions and logistics. Ensure the documented sales hiring process is used effectively when working with the National Sales Manager to present offers. Loan Officer On-Boarding Complete new LO setup protocols and system registration. Review license status, facilitate license transfers, and set expectations for completion within 30 days. Notify HR of transition financial guidelines; maintain incentive period logs. Verify space, equipment, and supplies before start date. Ensure all new Loan Officers and Branch Managers attend formal UHM Transition Training within 30 days. Set up Loan Officer Compensation Structures and review plans quarterly. Represent UHM positively and foster a good work culture. New Office Development/On-Boarding Assist in building new branches in your market or expansion areas, following the Branch Manager’s training guide. Forecasting Present production forecasts based on branch reports. Include recruiting and production estimates. Coaching and Training Own the success of new hires. Implement “Quick Start” sales training for all new staff. Ensure new hires attend transition training within 30 days and complete post-transition training for 90 days. Use UHM Core Training and Partner Success Tracker for skill development and coaching. Assess developmental levels and set objectives for Managers and Loan Officers. Create corrective action plans and maintain effective field coaching. Schedule regular meetings based on productivity and development. Review P & L statements and drive production towards ROI goals. Train field staff including Team Leaders and Branch Managers. Implement ongoing sales support based on UHM protocols Supervise Team Leaders and Branch Managers as first support line for Loan Officers. Utilize online resources and coordinate with Trainers and Management for inquiries. Use UHM Underwriting Efficiency and Leadership Teams effectively. Perform research and pre-approvals when necessary. Corporate Policies and Procedures Ensure Partners are trained on the UHM Manual, Field Operations, and PartnerNet. Monitor adherence to origination standards, policies, and regulations (RESPA, TILA, Safe Act, etc.). Manage attendance at corporate meetings and monitor pipeline management. Maintain privacy standards for all sensitive information. Administrative Functions Oversee timely and accurate reporting. Manage within the sales budget and communicate expenses. Maintain competitive market knowledge. Ensure licensing compliance and documentation. Personal Production Lead by example, adhering to all corporate standards and policies. Corporate Support Uphold the UHM Code of Conduct. Serve as liaison to senior management and support teams. Skills/Qualifications Negotiation, Motivation, Relationship Building, Coaching, Process Management, Market Knowledge, Budgeting, Staffing, Decision Making, Ethical Standards, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Supervisory Skills. Education & Experience Minimum five years of loan origination experience. At least two years of supervisory experience. High School Diploma or GED required.
