Senior Attorney (Labor & Employment) – New York, NY
Our client, a well-respected firm in New York City, is seeking a skilled
Labor & Employment Attorney
to join their growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload across labor and employment matters, while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment. Responsibilities: Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and employment contract matters.
Provide counsel to employers and employees on compliance with state and federal labor laws.
Draft and review employment agreements, workplace policies, and handbooks.
Handle administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC, NLRB, and DOL.
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in New York (additional bar admissions a plus).
3+ years of labor & employment law experience.
Strong litigation skills, including depositions, motions, and client counseling.
Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
What’s Offered: Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) - $200,000-300,000 + bonus
