Overview

Southview Design is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead its HR function in St. Paul, MN. This strategic role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and local employment laws, while fostering a culture of excellence. The HR Manager will champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and development, contributing to the company’s overall success. As a key leader within a family of companies, the HR Manager will collaborate closely with both the business and the corporate HR team. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively support a diverse workforce and ensure clear communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational objectives and develop HR strategies that support growth.

Partner with compensation and company leadership to design, evaluate, and implement competitive compensation plans, including company-wide incentive programs aligned with financial goals.

Plan, lead, and drive the facilitation of new HR programs, focusing on continuous improvement and alignment with the Company’s strategic direction.

Serve as a key consultant to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and organizational development.

Mediates and resolves employee relations issues, conducts investigations, and supports conflict resolutions to maintain a positive work environment.

Guide managers in setting performance goals, delivering feedback, and conducting evaluations. Manage the performance appraisal system to drive high performance and succession planning.

Identify training and development needs, coordinating programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge; lead HR initiatives such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and talent development programs.

Implement programs to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being, including employee recognition and retention initiatives.

Oversee the onboarding process and employee data management in Workday for payroll and employment tracking; lead seasonal rehire processes and onboarding needs.

Track HR metrics, create reports, and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions related to turnover and workforce planning.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations; mitigate risks and oversee HR policies and programs; partner with safety managers to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

5–7 years of experience in HR leadership roles.

bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.

Proven experience driving HR initiatives and leading/mentoring teams.

Experience with compensation plans and developing incentive programs.

Experience supporting a multi-site company within a corporate structure.

Proficiency in HRIS systems; Workday experience is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; strong organizational skills with attention to detail, time management, and multitasking.

Position Range $90,000 - $113,200
