Evans & Dixon is seeking a Missouri Workers' Compensation Attorney in our St. Louis office. We are seeking an attorney with 0 to 5+ years of experience who has strong litigation and administrative skills and is eager to apply them. As a Workers' Compensation Attorney, you will be mentored by highly experienced Workers' Compensation Attorneys. You will learn different aspects of workers' compensation, investigate medical records, and work with a team on a variety of cases. Successful candidates will have a durable work ethic, the ability to multitask, and enjoy a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating setting. Gain real-world legal experience by working alongside experienced attorneys in state and federal courts in the Midwest. Collaboration: work side by side with highly experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants as a team. Legal Research: perform legal research and stay current with new developments in the law. Client Interaction: directly interact with clients on a daily basis, while building connections with our clients. Attorney Responsibilities: handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants & judges, and court appearances as you grow in your legal career. Drafting: draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents. What We're Looking For
Zero to five plus years of experience in the legal field Working knowledge of administrative laws and procedures Strong analytical, communication, and people skills Ability to handle large caseloads and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent negotiation skills Ability to work effectively with corporate professionals Commitment to excellence in performance Excellent written and oral communication skills Education And Qualifications
A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school Actively licensed in Missouri, or ability to become licensed in Missouri Defense experience preferred, but not required About Us
