Value Engineering Consultant We have an opportunity for a Value Engineering Consultant to join our Value Engineering Team, reporting to the Director of Value Engineering. In this pivotal role on the Infoblox Value Program team, you are a critical bridge between our solutions and their quantifiable impact on our customers\' businesses. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding prospects and customers through the journey of defining, projecting, and realizing the value of our networking and security solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning our technology with our customers\' business challenges and strategic goals.

Be Prepared - What You Bring

Experience in a Value Consulting / Value Engineering role

with a B2B Enterprise SaaS company. Experience in a value role in a Networking, Security, or Cloud Computing company is a plus

Experience with one or more tools used to model and communicate value

to prospects and customers. DecisionLink / ValueCloud is a plus

Expert-level proficiency

in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce.com and/or other enterprise Sales Tools

Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud technologies. Ability to translate technical jargon into clear business language and talk with businesspeople about the financial benefits of technical solutions

Business Acumen : Sharp understanding of business processes and financial metrics. Ability to connect technical solutions to tangible business outcomes and quantifiable value

Consultative Approach : Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proven track record of building rapport, active listening, and guiding clients towards optimal solutions

Sales Savviness : Experience working in a sales, customer success, consulting, or other customer-facing role. Comfortable articulating value propositions and handling objections; comfortable interacting with various roles on a buying team and multiple levels in the organization

Experience with at least one common sales methodology

(e.g., MEDDPICC)

Passion for Learning : A drive to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving IT landscape (especially Networking, Security, and Cloud Computing). Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

We practice pay transparency and reward performance. Offers reflect role location, internal equity, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Base salary for this position: $98,700 - $130,000 plus bonus or commissions
