Value Engineering Consultant — We have an opportunity to join our Value Engineering Team, reporting to the Director of Value Engineering. In this pivotal role, you are a critical bridge between our solutions and their quantifiable impact on customers’ businesses. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding prospects and customers through defining, projecting, and realizing the value of our networking and security solutions.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
Needs Discovery, Analysis, and Information Gathering: Engage with prospects and customers to understand their business challenges, pain points, and future objectives. Summarize findings in a business case for change (Why Change? Why Infoblox? Why Now?).
Identify areas where Infoblox solutions can drive improvements in efficiency, risk mitigation, and cost savings; collect information for value models from various sources (prospect/customer, Infoblox partners, Infoblox sales teams, third-party research).
Value Quantification: Collaborate with clients to build business value models; analyze potential cost savings, productivity gains, and risk mitigation to quantify ROI.
Develop Presentations and deliverables that showcase the business case for change and the quantified value proposition of our solutions.
Build trusted client relationships and serve as the go-to expert on Infoblox value throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
Sales Enablement: Work with sales teams to provide value-based deal strategy and tools to position business value; help teams develop self-sufficient value models.
Day-to-Day engagement with Sales Teams: Participate in team calls, forecast calls, QBRs, and proactively suggest value-based deal strategies.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape; contribute insights to product development and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with other Infoblox teams (marketing, product development, channel) to enhance sales motions with emphasis on customer value.
Be Prepared — What You Bring
Experience in a Value Consulting / Value Engineering role with a B2B Enterprise SaaS company; experience in networking, security, or cloud computing is a plus.
Experience with value modeling tools (DecisionLink/ValueCloud is a plus).
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or other enterpriseSales tools.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud technologies; ability to translate technical jargon into clear business language and articulate the financial benefits of solutions.
Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and financial metrics; ability to connect technical solutions to tangible business outcomes and measurable value.
Consultative Approach: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to build rapport and guide clients to optimal solutions.
Sales Savviness: Experience in sales, customer success, or other customer-facing roles; comfortable engaging with various roles in a buying team and multiple levels in organizations.
Familiarity with at least one common sales methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC).
Passion for Learning: Commitment to staying current in Networking, Security, and Cloud computing and ongoing professional development.

Pay transparency; offers reflect role, location, equity, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Base salary range: $98,700 - $130,000 plus bonus or commissions.
