Overview

At TonaLaw, the first call to a law firm often comes during a challenging time in someone’s life. As our Legal Intake Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients—listening with empathy, gathering essential case details, and guiding clients through the intake and onboarding process. You’ll work closely with attorneys and paralegals, ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and confident in the first steps of their personal injury case. Benefits

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for new clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings. Conduct initial intake screenings to evaluate case viability and gather key client details. Collect and upload relevant accident, medical, and insurance documentation into the case management system. Prepare, track, and process retainers and new client paperwork, opening new matters promptly. Maintain empathetic communication with clients, addressing questions, managing expectations, and diffusing upset clients when needed. Refer clients to outside professionals if the case is not a fit. Accurately track leads, referrals, and intake records in CRM and case management systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in personal injury law intake or equivalent sales role preferred. Associate’s degree or higher preferred. Proficiency with case management software and CRM systems. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to manage a high call volume and multiple leads simultaneously. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Empathetic, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Compensation

$55,000+
