$50,000.00/hr - $70,000.00/hr Janel Group is seeking a
Carrier Sales Executive
to build and manage strong partnerships with carriers nationwide and secure reliable transportation solutions for our clients. The Carrier Sales Executive will be responsible for sourcing and procuring carrier services, ensuring timely and efficient freight pickup and delivery, and fostering long-term relationships with transportation providers.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality. Ensure carrier performance meets or exceeds 95% on-time service levels. Proactively track and monitor loads from pickup through final delivery. Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with carriers, customers, and terminals. Secure and manage all required documentation in compliance with customer and business requirements. Represent the interests of the customer when coordinating with carriers. Accurately update systems throughout the life cycle of each load in accordance with company standards. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience, required. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset. Competitive, proactive, and positive approach to challenges. Creative thinker with the ability to identify and implement solutions. Bilingual skills, preferred.

Carrier Sales Executive
