GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Guard - Retail. Eligible candidates: at least four to six years of security experience; 21+ years of age; baton permit; OC spray permit; handcuff permit. Please include your most up-to-date security resume. Candidates with current or former military or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply. Note: this role requires the ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, act accordingly, and perform patrols in various environments including retail stores, airports, and detention centers. Observe and report on activity at the assigned location Work indoors and outdoors; patrol various environments Provide rapid response in critical situations Read and write detailed reports Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity React quickly to threats or incidents; detain and search as needed Document incidents and actions taken; respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property Qualifications
State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings available during hiring) HS Diploma or GED Authorized to work in the U.S. 4–6 years of security experience 21+ years of age Baton permit; OC spray permit; handcuff permit Up-to-date security resume Military or law enforcement experience encouraged Able to pass extensive screening process First aid certification is an asset Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift Equal Opportunity
