We are seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth, expand dispensary distribution, and oversee a broader sales territory. This is a strategic sales role for a highly motivated, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the cannabis industry and a proven track record of acquiring and growing retail partnerships. The Account Executive will be responsible for bringing on new dispensary partners, ensuring a smooth transition of new accounts to the account management team, and maintaining key relationships. This role also includes filling operational gaps, supporting account management, and driving marketing opportunities. The ideal candidate understands customer needs and can effectively present Rove’s products to drive growth.

Responsibilities

Identify, target, and acquire new dispensary and retail partners.

Develop and execute strategies to expand Rove’s market share in the region.

Generate leads, conduct sales meetings, and close deals with retail partners.

Ensure smooth handoff and onboarding of new accounts to account management.

Maintain relationships with dispensary owners and key decision-makers.

Provide support across account management and marketing initiatives.

Understand client needs and offer tailored product solutions.

Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

Analyze industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.

Represent Rove at trade shows, events, and vendor days.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability.

Maintain detailed CRM records of sales activities and client interactions.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of sales experience, preferably in cannabis or regulated CPG.

Proven success in new business acquisition and sales growth.

Strong network within cannabis retail is a plus.

Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory (100+ miles radius).

Proficiency with CRM tools and sales forecasting.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
