Responsibilities

Attend Financial Services University (FSU). FSU is a comprehensive hands-on formal credit training program focusing on financial analysis training, learning the best use of lending systems, and understanding Frost culture

Develop loan packages and make recommendations by analyzing size, structure, and conducting approval assessments

Become familiar with your clients and their business to understand and act on their needs

Achieve monthly call and product sales goals set by the sales coach

Report weekly activity and marketing results to the sales coach of business banking

Manage and support loan commitments with accuracy and efficiency

Champion Frost’s philosophy and core values in the work you do by caring for your clients, having a willingness to do more than you’re asked because it’s the right thing to do, and doing so with excellence

Process referrals from the financial center relationship managers and other areas of the bank for small business products, including loans, depository accounts, trusts, and cash management services

Support specific financial centers’ defined geographic areas, specific census tracts, and customer relationships once products are sold and accounts are opened

Stay up to date on bank products and services by regularly attending training classes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably accounting or finance, with a minimum 2.75 GPA

6+ hours of accounting or equivalent graduate-level coursework

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Previous banking experience and knowledge of bank products

Proficient in Microsoft applications

Additional Preferred Skills

GPA of 3.0 or better in your major

Undergraduate or graduate coursework emphasizing financial statement analysis

9+ hours of Accounting, including Intermediate Accounting I, or equivalent graduate level Accounting
