Overview Residential Counselor/Direct Care Support

in Lancaster, MA. This full-time position includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are at the heart of the work we do. You will work directly with adolescents facing mental health challenges in a group home setting to support daily needs, foster independence, and empower them to live their best lives. The role is rewarding and offers the chance to make a direct impact on someone\'s life every day. Full training is provided to help you succeed, whether you are coming from human services or exploring the field for the first time.

Responsibilities

Provide daily therapeutic support and guidance for children and adolescents with mental health challenges to help them achieve the highest level of independence.

Assist with daily activities, provide emotional support, and help individuals reach their personal goals.

Work directly with adolescents in a group home setting to support their daily needs and independence.

Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners as part of a care team.

Participate in training and ongoing professional development to excel in the DSP role.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; at least 21 years old. Bachelor\'s degree is preferred.

Background in human services is helpful; willingness to complete full training is required.

Shifts and Schedule

Shifts are 32 or 40 hours per week with options including: Sun 8:00 am to 10:00 pm; Mon to Wed 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Shifts are 32 or 40 hours per week with options including: Wed to Fri 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm; Sat 8:00 am to 10:00 pm

Shifts are 30 or 40 hours per week: Sun to Wed 10:00 pm to 8:00 am

Shifts are 30 or 40 hours per week: Wed to Sat 10:00 pm to 8:00 am

Shifts are 40 hours: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Shifts are 40 hours: Tue to Fri 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm (Wed and Thu off)
