We are seeking two experienced attorneys, one with a focus on Transactional Law and another on Litigation, to join a growing legal team in La Mesa, CA. Both positions require experience in Common Interest Developments (CID) and Homeowners’ Association (HOA) law. Job Title:
Transactional Attorney & Litigation Attorney Location:
La Mesa, CA (Fully remote in California) Base pay range:
$170,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Transactional Attorney
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, CC&Rs, bylaws, and other governing documents for HOAs and common interest developments. Advise clients on compliance with California laws and regulations affecting CIDs. Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions, corporate governance, and risk management. Litigation Attorney
Represent HOAs and related entities in litigation matters, including construction defects, contract disputes, and enforcement actions. Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, mediation, and trial preparation. Work closely with clients to develop case strategies and manage expectations. Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership. 2+ years of experience in Common Interest Developments and HOA law required. Strong drafting, research, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members in a hybrid environment. Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $210,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Benefits
