Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the organization’s payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Maintain and update payroll systems and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Supervise payroll staff and coordinate workflow to meet deadlines. Review and approve payroll calculations, deductions, tax filings, and direct deposits. Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure payroll data aligns with benefits, bonuses, and other compensation. Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and review reports related to payroll (e.g., payroll summaries, tax reports, audit reports). Manage year-end processes including W-2s, 1099s, and other tax documents. Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with payroll software. Assist in budgeting and forecasting payroll costs. Ensure timely remittance of payroll taxes and benefit contributions. Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance. Stay up to date with changing payroll laws and regulations. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of payroll experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role. Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.) and Microsoft Excel. Benefits:
