Overview
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital first mindset. They focus on trusts, assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s goals and needs. They develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients, open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. They proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to meet financial needs, and leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. Responsibilities
Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, learning about their financial needs and banking channel preferences. Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients. Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and services. Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients. Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests, and submits credit applications. Proactively educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs. Leverages available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve our clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
Qualifications
Client Relationship Consultant 1
— Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically 1–2 years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training. Preferred Skills/Experience: ability to build and foster relationships, effective client engagement and communication, basic knowledge of bank policies and procedures, customer service and interpersonal skills, experience with digital products and self-service technologies, digital-first mindset, ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions, financial services industry experience preferred. Client Relationship Consultant 2
— Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically 3–4 years of job-related, retail banking experience or similar. Preferred Skills/Experience: strong relationship-building, client engagement, in-depth policy knowledge, customer service and interpersonal skills, experience with digital products, digital-first mindset, ability to identify needs and recommend solutions, financial services industry experience preferred. Client Relationship Consultant 3
— Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically 4–5 years of job-related, retail banking experience or similar. Preferred Skills/Experience: advanced relationship-building, thorough knowledge of policies and all retail products and services, experience participating in sales campaigns/promotions, advanced ability to recommend solutions, digital products proficiency, financial services industry experience preferred. Licensing and Compliance
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain NMLS registration requirements may result in an offer rescission or termination of employment.
