Senior Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm specializing in family law is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney to join its team. Location: Duties: Represent clients across Texas, focusing on family law matters such as divorce, child custody, and property division. Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for hearings and trials. Advocate in court to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts. Provide empathetic support to clients, balancing client care with maintaining strong professional boundaries. Collaborate with the legal team to achieve positive outcomes and contribute to a supportive work culture. Manage high-conflict cases with a solution-focused approach. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law, with a strong background in litigation and courtroom experience. Licensed to practice law in Texas, in good standing. Board certification in family law is a plus. Experience in handling high-conflict family law cases, particularly involving divorce and child custody. Proven success in drafting legal documents and preparing cases for trial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Licensed to practice law in Texas (required). Board certification in family law (preferred, but not required). Skills and Competencies: Excellent legal writing and drafting skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Empathy and emotional intelligence in client relations. Ability to manage high-conflict cases effectively. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
