Ensure accurate and timely payment of teammate payroll, including managing deductions and complying with all tax regulations Audit workflows related to new hires, terminations, transfers, rehires, and leaves of absence for accuracy and completeness; escalate discrepancies to the Associate Resource Center Review and process final Paid Time Off (PTO) balances Review and upload payroll data received from dealership partners Respond to payroll-related inquiries from management, Associate Resource Centers, dealership personnel, third-party vendors, and teammates Prepare and process manual payments, including gross-to-net calculations and proper tax application in accordance with policy Support the payroll management team to ensure smooth and timely processing of all teammate payments Contribute to special projects and process improvements as assigned by management THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high-volume environment (3,000+ associates) Knowledge of involuntary deductions such as garnishments, child support, and tax levies Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and best-in-class payroll practices UKG Pro experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required FPC or CPP certification strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of operating effectively within a shared services environment Seniority level
