Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Bilingual Senior HR Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting HR operations within the San Antonio facility of 1,500 employees. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, solutions-oriented leader focused on driving business results, fostering a high-performance culture, and providing strategic HR partnership. This role will work closely with the Manufacturing Operations team to design, implement, and monitor HR programs that align with the company’s overall manufacturing strategy. Key responsibilities include: Partnering with the leadership team to ensure a complete understanding of human capital needs and objectives aligned to the business strategy. Partnering with business leaders and front-line supervisors to sustain a productive and engaging work environment and tying HR contributions to business objectives through effective metrics and reporting. Talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, employee engagement and other core HR functional areas. Collaborating with management and supervisors to develop and implement processes and tools that foster higher productivity, quality, safety and improved retention of the workforce. Providing leadership and change management expertise in support of manufacturing business initiatives, projects, and changes. Implementing and measuring the learning and development program for manufacturing and leading a continuous skills development program. Bilingual Senior HR Manager Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies: Organizational Development and Effectiveness Consultation - Assess organizational performance strengths and gaps by conducting comprehensive assessments, interpreting data and engaging leaders to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Human Resources Data Management - Acts on people data to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policy and legislative requirements. Employee Relations - Builds constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders; reinforces the consistent application of company standards applies knowledge of employment and labor law; effectively manages conflict; builds and maintains a collaborative, productive work environment through information sharing and consultation. Data Analytics - Interprets information relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks and leverages analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive business insights; assesses the quality of data as an initial step of the analysis. Human Resources Consulting - Collaborates with business leaders in applying business and Human Resources functional knowledge to interpret the business environment, identifies and prioritizes current and future problems requiring solutions; structures clear problem statements, breaking down issues into smaller, meaningful, and manageable components that when addressed, provide a holistic solution. Human Resources Business Process Execution - Manages the execution of Human Resources business processes, seeking efficiency, accuracy, positive business performance outcomes, and operational agility; integrates activities across processes as needed; assures compliance with process and legal requirements; effectively balances process requirements and business leader needs. Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Proven ability to interface and influence at all levels of the organization. Strong business acumen with the ability to influence culture and create alignment between business goals and HR processes. Great people management and coaching skills. Requirements: Reports to Vice President of Human Resources Leads a team of 5+ Employees Additional Corporate support from another location will be provided Ten years of HR experience with a minimum of five years in a management role in an industrial manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple human resource functions including coaching and development, talent management, implementing, and improving HR processes, organizational design, and development. Strategic thinker able to translate strategies into actionable plans. A proactive mindset to positively impact the organization to reach its full potential Solutions-oriented problem solver Strong written & oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization. Experience working as a change agent. Fluent in English and Spanish Education: College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required. PHR or SPHR certification; SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
