Responsibilities:
Liaise between realtors, senior MLO / mortgage loan originator, underwriter, mortgage lenders or mortgage bankers, and loan processors on behalf of the applicant as needed to assure the loan transaction is successful Educate loan applicants about various residential mortgage loans - answer questions and provide additional information to create personal relationships Communicate with the senior mortgage loan officer/ MLO to make a recommendation of which mortgage loan products are best suited depending on applicant’s financial status Meet sales expectations, generate new business, get referrals, and monitor sales pipeline Gather financial information to assist with loan applications, prepare loan files, and assess applicants’ financial situation and eligibility Learn the mortgage game – Master loan products & closing techniques Engage & convert leads – We’ll show you how to turn NOs into YESes Close deals & make money – The more you put in, the more you earn! Qualifications:
Excellent sales, relationship, communications and MS Office skills are vital Some college (Bachelor’s) is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required Possess the intention to complete a training program to obtain NMLS/ MLO/ state license Familiarity with home mortgage program guidelines and various types of loans such as FHA, commercial loans, VA, etc is beneficial, but not required Previous experience in financial services, real estate, lending institutions, credit union, or related fields is valuable, but not required NMLS Licensed (REQUIRED) – Ready to hit the ground running Confident & coachable – You take feedback & apply it fast Sales or customer service experience?
