Mid Level Momentum Technical Analyst

CGI Position Description Seeking a Mid-Level Technical Analyst who is looking for a growth opportunity to support our technical operations team. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring smooth operational workflows and effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong foundation in technical systems and operational processes, with the ability to perform independent research, analyze, document, and support the implementation of technical solutions. This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S.; preferred location is Fairfax, VA, however a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical and operational requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and documentation. Support the operations and maintenance of Momentum implementation at Federal agencies. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot operational issues. Scripting and implementing automation of processes/batch jobs in coordination with the functional team. Assist in ad-hoc reporting requests from the clients. Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, including workflows, SOPs, SharePoint pages and user guides. Lead efforts on applying security patching and Momentum build deployment. Provide support for system testing, validation, and deployment activities. Actively participate in future Momentum upgrade projects across Federal agencies within the Business Unit. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
3–5 years of experience in a Momentum Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role. Strong understanding of technical operations, systems integration, and IT processes. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Azure Dashboards, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience supporting mission critical systems. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience creating/modifying Jenkins automation scripts for managing Momentum batch jobs. Experience using Git, Oracle Tuxedo, Oracle WebLogic, SoftwareAG WebMethods, Python scripting. Software upgrades and patching. Experience with Jenkins. Experience with Windows OS-based systems. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills
Experience with Momentum 8x. Experience with Red Hat OpenShift. Knowledge of federal financial management preferred. Oracle knowledge preferred. JBoss knowledge preferred. Experience with Linux-based systems. CGI Federal anticipates accepting applications for this position through 2025-11-28. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role... A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
