Primarily responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within an assigned unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities. Coordinate plan of care with the patient, their family and the interdisciplinary team. Supervise and responsibly direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Adhere to the California Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, the ANA Bill of Rights for Registered Nurses, and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing. Observe and direct patient lifts and mobilization; participate in patient handling as needed. Utilize standard office equipment and computer software; perform essential functions with Windows, MS Office applications and related tools within the first two weeks of employment. Bachelor's Degree Minimum Experience:
1 year of directly related RN experience in area of specialty Preferred Experience:
2+ years of directly related RN experience in area of specialty Required Certification:
American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider Preferred Certification:
