Overview
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a full-time pulmonary and critical care physician to expand our clinical footprint in pulmonary diseases. This position will primarily be focused on inpatient and ambulatory pulmonary practices but may cover MICUs at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the University of Maryland Midtown Campus locations. Expected faculty rank for this position is Assistant Professor or higher. Final rank, tenure status and salary depend on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary notes: Expected salary range for Assistant Professors is $195,306 (min) to $330,000 (max). This range reflects base pay based on rank and years in rank and does not include all components of the departmental faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental variable compensation programs. Actual compensation may vary. For more information, contact the hiring department. The stated range represents the minimum and maximum salaries and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at posting time. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end, and actual compensation will depend on factors including location, skills, experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and other factors as determined by the University. BE/BC in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine. Ability to obtain an independent license to practice Medicine in the State of Maryland.
