Job Description
The Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) Operations Systems Support Specialist reports to the Senior Assistant Director of Slate and supports CRM and operational systems critical to enrollment and student services. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and eager to learn. The position involves managing incoming requests, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with system troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Request & Issue Management:
Respond to incoming requests via email, Slate request forms, and Microsoft Teams. Provide timely updates to stakeholders and escalate complex issues when needed. Document outcomes and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
System & Data Support:
Assist with resolving issues in Slate, Perceptive Content, and PeopleSoft Pathways. Monitor data feeds and queries to ensure accurate and reliable data transfers. Perform regular audits and updates to maintain data integrity. Process transcripts and test scores, including verifying course details and entering missing data. Add or remove service indicators for students based on transcript status. Responsible for Slate to Brainware data monitoring.
User Access & Integration:
Help manage user access and permissions across Slate. Support onboarding and deactivation of users. Assist with data exchanges between Slate and other internal/external systems.
Training & Documentation:
Participate in training sessions to build system knowledge. Help maintain internal documentation and suggest process improvements. Create or update user guides and quick-reference materials.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with internal teams and campus partners. Occasionally support recruitment events (e.g., orientation, campus tours, open houses). Serve up to four "Primary Shifts" per month at the front desk, assisting with applicant inquiries and directing students as needed. Maintain regular in-office hours to support the Office of Admission's public-facing role.
OSS Backup Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary backup for the Office Support Specialist (OSS) position, supporting transcript intake, data entry, inbox monitoring, school creation, and other processing tasks.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work collaboratively.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
No prior CRM or Student Information Systems experience required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with CRM or Student Information Systems is a plus.
Anticipated Hiring Range $15.00 - $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
