The Principal Network Engineer will lead the design, automation, and support of Fidelity\'s DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) infrastructure across both on-prem and cloud service provider (CSP) environments. This role sits within the Data Center and Network Services (DCNS) organization, specifically the DDI Engineering team, and requires a disciplined approach to ITSM methodologies to ensure reliable delivery of network services. Responsibilities
Manage and design Fidelity\'s DDI infrastructure using Infoblox, Nokia QIP (legacy), and ISC Bind. Serve as the team\'s automation SME, building and deploying automation solutions using Python and Ansible Tower. Consult with business partners on best practices and technology options. Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI-related issues, including participation in on-call rotation. Document complex technologies and topologies with a focus on security. Manage technology lifecycle and vendor relationships. Provide shift-oriented operations support in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. Ensure 24x7 availability of network services across Enterprise Infrastructure divisions. Escalate and resolve network issues as needed. Qualifications
4-6 years of experience in network engineering and DDI technologies. Senior-level automation experience with Python and Ansible Tower. Hands-on experience with Infoblox and DNS platforms. Ability to mentor and develop automation capabilities within the team. Strong understanding of TCP/IP and application traffic. Experience with Linux, scripting, and change management practices. Familiarity with enterprise security policies and Agile methodologies. Effective communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders. Team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities. Network certifications and SNOW development experience are a plus. Strong desire to become a DDI subject matter expert. Company Overview
