Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cash Applications Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high volume cash applications, account reconciliation, and ERP systems. This role is responsible for accurately applying customer payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting month-end close activities. Key Responsibilities

Accurately apply customer payments to outstanding invoices Process and manage various payment methods including: ACH transfers Credit card transactions Direct customer payments Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of customer accounts Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Support month-end close processes including journal entries and general ledger reconciliation Utilize ERP systems for transaction processing and reporting Use Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in cash applications or accounts receivable Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills Details

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Range:

$24/hr – $27/hr DOE Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years Job Function
