Cash Application Specialist
Salary range: $19 - $24/hr

Cash Application Specialist
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming customer payments accurately and efficiently, supporting our accounts receivable processes and credit & collections team. Your tasks will include managing daily lockbox transactions, reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with month-end reporting. If you enjoy detail-oriented work and problem-solving, this position may be a great fit for you. Key Responsibilities: Post daily lockbox payments and apply cash accurately to customer accounts Reconcile payments to invoices and resolve discrepancies or unapplied cash Research and communicate remittance issues with banks, internal teams, and customers Maintain documentation of payment procedures and workflows Support month-end close by ensuring accurate payment records Collaborate with the Credit & Collections team to improve AR performance Perform other related duties as needed Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or accounting Experience processing lockbox files and using online banking platforms High accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent data entry skills Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite Strong Excel skills and quick learner of internal tools Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments Knowledge of electronic payment methods such as ACH, EDI, and wire transfers Experience resolving deductions and working with customer payment portals Why Work at Trulite?
