Lead Business Systems Analyst at S&P Global. The Team The Technology Governance & Delivery Enablement (TGDE) team at S&P Dow Jones Indices is responsible for establishing effective portfolio planning and execution patterns to drive operational excellence and foster a culture of collaboration using lean portfolio management and agile development methodologies. As a member of the Delivery Enablement team, you will play a crucial role in accelerating technology delivery by breaking down complex problems into implementable solutions that drive business value and enhance project outcomes.
Responsibilities and Impact
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed business requirements.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and create detailed documentation, including effective user stories, features, use cases, and process flows.
Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
By working closely with the development, QA, SM, and product teams, ensure alignment of project deliverables with business goals.
Utilize Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Teams, Miro, MS Suites, and SharePoint to manage tasks and workflows.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and team members.
Compensation and Benefits This section is applicable to US candidates. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $101,000 to $147,000. The final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan in addition to base compensation, but not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commissions. What We’re Looking For Basic Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, information technology, business, or a related field.
7 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in the financial information industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
Proven track record of identifying and improving business processes.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Teams, Miro, MS Suites, and SharePoint.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM).
Experience with lean portfolio management.
Previous experience as a team lead or in a similar role.
