This teletherapy position serves elementary and middle school students requiring speech and language support services. Working approximately 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll deliver therapy sessions, complete evaluations, and manage IEP responsibilities from your home office. The virtual format allows you to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with articulation disorders, language delays, fluency challenges, and voice disorders.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine eligibility for services and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
Regular progress monitoring, data collection, and report writing to document student growth and inform instructional decisions.
Attend virtual IEP meetings, consult with teachers about classroom accommodations, and communicate regularly with parents about progress and home practice activities.
Credential Requirements
Active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license and current ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
At least two years of professional experience in educational settings.
Comfort with technology platforms used for teletherapy service delivery and strong organizational skills.
Technology and Workspace Dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity and minimal distractions. Use video conferencing software, digital therapy materials, and online documentation systems. Familiarity with educational technology enhances effectiveness; specific platform training is available.
