Available in both part and full-time capacities, this position provides the autonomy to manage your therapeutic approach while being supported by a collaborative team of education professionals. You\'ll work with students across various grade levels, addressing a wide spectrum of communication disorders through innovative teletherapy methods. What You\'ll Do
Your daily responsibilities will encompass conducting virtual speech and language evaluations, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and implementing targeted interventions that address each student\'s unique communication needs. You\'ll facilitate engaging online therapy sessions that incorporate interactive digital tools and evidence-based techniques. Beyond direct service delivery, you\'ll serve as a vital resource for educators and families, providing consultation and strategies to support communication development throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized and group speech therapy sessions via secure video platforms Conduct thorough evaluations to determine eligibility and appropriate interventions Create measurable goals and track student progress toward communication milestones Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams Educate parents and teachers on communication strategies and home practice activities Utilize digital resources to create engaging, effective therapy materials Ensure compliance with Ohio state regulations and best practices in telepractice Required Qualifications
Valid ASHA CCC-SLP certification in good standing Current Ohio speech-language pathology license Master\'s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Two or more years of experience delivering services in educational settings Competence with technology platforms used for teletherapy and documentation Ability to establish rapport and maintain student engagement in virtual environments Home office setup with reliable high-speed internet The Virtual Advantage
