Responsibilities
Designs, develops, modifies, debugs, deploys, and evaluates internal applications on AWS platform. Development using various AWS services, including Redshift, Glue, S3, ECS, DMS and API Gateway. Migrate data into Redshift from legacy warehouse environments. Read and write data from S3 to Redshift database. Work jointly with the IT team(onsite & offshore) and other departments to maintain data reconciliation between AWS Datawarehouse and On-premise databases. Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience in IT, with AWS Redshift and Power BI. Experience with AWS services: VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Redshift, Glue, cloud formation template, CodePipeline and ECS Experienced in architecting serverless solutions using AWS cloud services. Strong experience in SQL and DDL in RDBMS (SQLServer, Oracle, Redshift) Extensive Experience with one or more CI/CD platforms and Strong foundations with Git and git-flow methodologies. Working knowledge on Power BI reporting and connecting it to Amazon web services. Any AWS Associate level or speciality certification is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and translate complex business rules into technical designs. Ability to work independently on complex technical projects as well as collaborate with a team of technical professionals. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to learn effectively and meet deadlines. AWS Data Engineer experience working on AWS services building data environment and warehouse- most important skills in AWS are Glue, Lambda, and Redshift – AWS experience with lambda, Glue , S3, AWS batch and API gateway and Redshift Strong development experience with Python and developing REST API using python Strong SQL experience – working on analytical databases such as AWS Redshift. Familiarity working with Infrastructure as Code such as AWS Cloud Formations or Terraform
