Get ready to: Design and deploy advanced LLM-powered applications that support our Payroll product lines and operations. Lead architecture decisions, cost optimization, and observability efforts for mission-critical AI workflows. Collaborate with ML researchers, product managers, and application engineers. Create massive impact by doing groundbreaking work in an already high-scale product. You’ll bring: 12+ years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on system design At least 1.5 years building production-grade LLM applications Python expertise for AI/ML development Node.js familiarity for integration with application teams Deep experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.) Prompt engineering, LLM API integration, and system reliability patterns Observability tooling for AI systems Hands-on experience (2+ years) in implementing research and algorithms in Python, specifically in information retrieval, text processing, NLP, LLMs, and machine learning Bonus if you have: RAG implementations, agentic workflows, LangChain/CrewAI Cost tracking and optimization for AI/LLM infra Pre-LLM ML/deep learning experience Multimodal system exposure Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
