Our client, a growing insurance agency in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a mid-market book of business across diverse industries. The role focuses on property and casualty insurance, delivering outstanding client service in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Responsibilities
Manage and service a mid-market book of commercial P&C clients, ensuring retention and satisfaction. Prepare renewals, market submissions, proposals, and endorsements in collaboration with producers and carriers. Analyze client exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. Review policies, contracts, and certificates for accuracy and compliance. Handle daily servicing needs, including coverage inquiries, policy changes, billing issues, and claims support. Maintain accurate documentation within Epic (Applied Systems). Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal team members. Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience within a brokerage or agency environment. Strong working knowledge of Property & Casualty lines (General Liability, Auto, WC, Umbrella, Property, etc.). Mid-market experience required — familiarity with accounts typically ranging from $25K–$250K in revenue. Proficiency in Epic (Applied Systems) preferred. Active P&C license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain). Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills. Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with multi-state accounts and diverse industry verticals. Strong analytical and renewal negotiation skills. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, client-first attitude. Experience in managing complex accounts with varying coverage requirements. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Job Details
