As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Micron to co-optimize product and process, ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities Contribute to the development of new product opportunities through design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits.
Perform parasitic modeling and assist in design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
Oversee layout processes including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
Conduct verification using modeling and simulation tools.
Collaborate across teams to standardize processes and drive group success.
Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability.
Engage with Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification teams to improve design quality.
Drive innovation for future memory generations in a dynamic work environment.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in circuit design, layout, or simulation.
Familiarity with parasitic modeling and tape-out processes.
Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a semiconductor environment.
Knowledge of memory product development and validation workflows.
