Locum OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Garden City, KS
Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team at a leading hospital in Garden City, Kansas. This facility is ideal for an OB/GYN physician looking to make an impact through temporary coverage. The practice offers a well-supported environment with a focus on providing comprehensive care in both a clinic and inpatient setting.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide care for obstetric and gynecological patients in clinic and inpatient settings.
- Conduct new obstetrics consultations and manage established obstetrics cases.
- Perform surgical consultations and non-emergent surgeries two times per week.
- Participate in 24-hour shifts, managing emergency gynecological and obstetric cases.
- Collaborate with internal OBGYNs, midwives, and CRNAs, and support staff including lab techs and nurses.
- Board Certified OBGYN or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years post-residency).
- Active Kansas medical license (preferred).
- Active BLS certification.
- Active DEA registration.
- Ability to provide documentation of required procedures within the last 24 months.
- Must possess an active medical license in Kansas or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Current BLS certification required.
- DEA certification must be active and maintained throughout the assignment.
