Overview
High School Latin, Biology and/or History Teacher or Athletics Officer Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, a Chesterton Academy is a joyfully Catholic classical high school in north metro Denver which exists to be a joyful haven where students grow in wisdom and encounter our Lord Jesus Christ for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. We educate students in the Western civilization tradition and the liberal arts and sciences. Position
We are seeking a talented and dynamic full or part-time Latin and/or Biology and/or History teacher to join our team starting immediately whose love of their subject is matched by their love of teaching and forming high school students in the Catholic faith. Proficiency in Latin, Biology or History required for the respective position, with previous experience teaching. Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as demonstration of excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with experience in and passion for Catholic classical education. We are currently serving 9th and 10th grades. Qualifications and Requirements
Must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates must be pursuing their own spiritual development and living in a manner that provides a good example of a Catholic life. Candidates must actively support the mission and vision of the Chesterton Academies. Teaching ability, content excellence, classroom management skills, and capacity to take on extra-curricular duties, clubs, mentorship in the Houses System, and other duties as assigned. The House system promotes character and virtue and helps students grow in holiness. Full-time faculty members are required to attend daily Mass with the entire student body and participate in spiritual retreats or other school activities. Responsibilities
Teach Latin, Biology and/or History at the high school level, with potential involvement in athletics or related duties as assigned. Engage in extra-curricular duties, clubs, and mentorship within the Houses System. Contribute to a Catholic classical education environment focused on faith and reason. Application Process

Schedule: Employment starts upon hiring. Classification: Exempt Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000 for full-time, $7,500 - $20,000 for part-time, highly dependent on course load, experience, skills, education, and other factors permitted under Colorado law. Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, a Chesterton Academy, which opened in August 2024, is an authentically Catholic liberal arts high school currently in Northglenn, Colorado. It is a member of the Chesterton Schools Network that began in 2008 as a result of a grass-roots movement of parents to revitalize Catholic liberal education in high school. Chesterton Academies offer a rigorous, integrated high school curriculum centered on the Incarnation of Jesus Christ.
