Role Description Teach a minimum of 12 credit hours each Fall and Spring semester. Teach at least two graduate counseling courses per semester (e.g., Orientation to Counseling, Counseling Theories, Practicum/Internship) and additional undergraduate courses (e.g., Orientation to the Major, Practicum, Senior Seminar, General Psychology). Contribute to curriculum and program development at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Provide mentorship and academic support to students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Engage in service at the program, school, college, university, and community levels. Utilize effective, inclusive teaching methods appropriate for students of varying backgrounds and preparation levels. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance programming, teaching, and student access to education. Maintain active involvement in scholarly and professional activities. Qualifications Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology or related field. Licensed or license-eligible in Missouri or Kansas (e.g., Psychologist, Professional Counselor). Prior teaching experience in higher education. Commitment to supporting a diverse student body, including first-generation college students and multilingual learners. Demonstrated contributions to equity and social justice through teaching, scholarship, or service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Seniority level:
