Job Title : Assistant Professor - Economic Theory Department : Economics, College of Arts and Sciences Position Overview The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in economic theory. The starting date for the position is August 2026. Performance Objectives Establish and maintain an active research program. Support our commitment to excellence in teaching. Mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Education and Experience Requirements Required : Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or a related field before employment begins in August 2026, and have a research, teaching, and service record commensurate with rank. Desired : Priority is given to candidates whose research (job market paper in particular) is innovative and of high quality.
